Toyota Homecharge RFID tag issue plus more

I've finally got my "free" Homecharge EV Charger installed for my Rav4 Plug in after 4 months! I'm having issues with the spare RFID tag, the main one setup by the installer works fine and as he said keep it safe as it's important I've tucked it away with the spare fob and other important stuff. The other one just refuses to scan and bind with MyT App I just get a single beep from the wall box and a spinning circle type thing in the App but it never appears in the list but the App status changes to saying that a car is plugged in but there isn't the cable is not connected!! I've tried this countless times and always does the same. Any ideas? If not who is actually responsible for it British Gas or Hive as it must be a warranty issue?

The other issue is the constant loud hum from the electrickery they installed by our consumer unit 😡

Think I've sussed it myself! The 2 tags that come with the charger are the same tag except 1 is the master and must not be misplaced. Guess the guy explained it badly or I wasn't listening properly 😳

I've not tried the tag yet, the installer said just set by the app.

Just recently had the 'freebe' ABB Terra box installed by British Gas; been using the granny lead for 4 weeks. I'm with Octopus energy and trying use their off peak (00 30 - 05 30) tariff.  I've set peak time 1 to 00-00 end 00-30 and peak time 2 to 05-30 end 23-55. It's not possible to close that 5 minute gap at 23-55. I've tried switching off 'peak time 2' and setting peak time 1 to start 05-30 and end 00-30 but of course it just points out that start time cannot be after end time.

As I have a reasonable level of Hive investment at home in terms of heating and lighting, I was expecting to be able to program charging with the Hive app. The charger doesn't appear to be compatible with Hive! Anyone doing this? I have contacted BG and await response. At the moment it all seems a bit amateurish to me between BG and Toyota. The ABB Terra box does not appear to be on anyones list of favourites.

To be honest I've given up with any sort of timed response and turned off the peak time stuff. If I had anything set 9 times out of 10 it wouldn't let me over ride it for a quick charge. I'm one step away from just not bothering and just driving the car as a hybrid 24/7
