The e-shop is currently offering the 3 year updates for £119 rather than the £119 annual fee.

Marvellous. I have been waiting for that since my original MapCare expired in August.

The process threw an error right at the end but it seems to have worked. Now I just need to see if I can actually download the map.

Mine also said something like ‘there is n error come back latter”, however, like you it seems to have completed OK. The transaction is completed in Toyota EU not the UK.

Map downloaded. Unpacked (UnArchiver) and copied to stick ready for the update tomorrow.

Looks like the iso files are not in the FMU folder so I have created that at the top level of the stick and copied the files into it. Will find out tomorrow if the car is happy.

That sounds like it should work OK. I tend to reformat the USB drive every time rather than delete the previous files. I’ve found that deleting will leave the old files on the USB and this can confuse the Toyota Head Unit. So fresh format, create the FMU folder as you’ve done and load the ISO files in the folder.
