Front subframe question

Hi All,

I have a question regarding the front subframe of the NPL115 urban cruiser, my one has failed its MOT for a front control arm bush, not a biggie, i can change the whole control arm, but upon inspection, the castle nut by the hub is seized solid, so i will need to cut this off or try a nut splitter, the rear bolt came out no problems, but the front control arm bolt that goes in horizontally, has broken the nut away from its weld on inside of the subframe (which is a box section) so i cannot get to it, i have a welder coming to take a look to see it we can cut into it and refit a nut, so i can remove the control arm and fit as new control arm, but i was wondering if the Yaris that shared some similarities with the Urban Cruiser, if the subframe is the same, as this is my plan B if i cannot repair my subframe:(

Any info, advice or hints or tips, gratefully received.

Many thanks

H.P
