Hybrid range

Has anybody either experienced or found data that tell us how many miles you can travel in Hybrid mode when EV Battery is 100%, and also when EV range is zero and Hybrid kicks in (Battery at 20%) ??.

Then I assume you are the engine only.

I assume from the nature of your question that you have a PHEV? Your profile merely states GR Sport.

Range as a hybrid when you start with the traction Battery at 100% is about 550 miles.

Range as a hybrid when you start with the traction Battery at 0% (useable) is about 500 miles.

This assumes that you start with a full tank of petrol ... 😉

Range depends on how heavy your right foot is too….. there are so many variables when driving, the prediction above should only be taken as a very rough guide.

OkThank you for your replies. Yes it's PHEV.

I think I worded it badly, I was not asking about total range, I meant Hybrid range only. I realise the cars total range is when the petrol runs out.

My PHEV went to the dealers for the  DC/DC converter recall and afterwards I found that my “home” dashboard screen was new, showing EV range + HV range as well as consumption figures in both EV and HV as well as instant consumption by accelerator pressure. A very useful guide to everything one needs to know for journey planning.

The PHEV is just a self-charging hybrid with a bigger Battery so that you have some true EV range - about 50 miles worth. After that, it's just a self-charging hybrid and, as such is reliant on having petrol in the tank. So, the answer is either zero or dependent upon the amount of fuel in the tank! 😉

Thank you, I did not realise it had the same self charging ability as a Hybrid version, which is good news to me.

Of course I know it has a self charging function which I have tested.

I'm at over 600.
