My RAV PHEV wipers are getting a bit smeary. Any recommendations for replacement brands?

Bosch wipers work quite well

Yes, they seem to get good reviews. Cheaper than Toyota supplied ones too.

I just replaced my fronts with aerotwins  and have a rear on order.

first thing you will notice is they are much quieter.

If you go to their website and “search based on your vehicle” there are a number of options with different styles of blade , including “bendy ones”. Its not just one blade with them.

That's fine, fantastic for Bosch, I was recommended them to  flatcoat, there are many different brands and better brands of wipers then Bosch

Agreed horses for courses. What works on a supra may not be suitable for a Prius or vice versa. Just speaking from experience after replacing the el crapo Toyota branded ones that love to “dance” for the last 3 inches of the driver blade and always have on multiple cars.  The stiff Bosch doesnt. Hence my reco.
bendy blades work really well on sporty cars like yours. I was trying to say to you that there might be a Bosch blade you might find suitable.

Well after researching and ordering I got to the dealer to pick the car from service….. they had fitted new blades FOC. So I now have a full set of Bosch Aero twin Wiper Blades winging their way to me I don’t need!

If you never want to change your wipers again, the PIAA silicone wipers are really good - Mine are over 3 years old, still silent, still clear water decently. They are UV resistant so don't degrade from being in the sun, and don't harden and crack in sub-zero temps like normal rubber wipers. They also lay down a hydrophobic layer with each sweep, so after a month or so of use you don't even need to use the wipers at motorway speeds as the rain just rolls off!

Only downside is they are stupidly expensive compared to normal wipers, but you'll never need another set (Well, maybe after 10 years  )

They are tricky to source - Only place I know of that sells them consistently are tdcautomotive but their website can be a bit glitchy so I tend to use their eBay shop.

Tbh. My dealer changed my blades in my service and i find 6 months later the passenger blade failing. Hence my switch out to the bosch… why don't you try them for yourself since they are on the way…

I will see how the dealer fit ones last but I am keeping those on order, they will be needed eventually.

I have older cars where the wiper springs may have lost tension over the years and won't have the force to keep wiper on the screen, so a softer wiper is needed, Bosch are really good, but for 15+ year old cars the stiffer blade probably isn't going to work
