Perhaps you should ask Mod to move it to “General Discussions” since the OP question applies to a number of models and is not specific to the Yaris

There are exceptions and some can be adjusted. I test drove a BMW i5 years ago which was set up for one pedal driving (don't know if that was default), so lifting your foot off the gas pedal sent you into the windscreen. It wasn't something I would live with having another car very different.

This is how the gears work on my car..

D….daytime driving

N….nighttime driving( although I never seem to get anywhere)

R… race mode, ( never used it yet but I can’t wait to see the look on the guy behind me at the lights when I do) 

P… only use this if you need the toilet 

B ..for going backwards, obviously..
