Where can I find the OBD on a Toyota Hiace Hilife GXS 2liter camper van ,Diesel year 2000

I would be grateful for any advice

my van will crank over but will not start, need to do a diagnostic,to see what’s going on.

Crank sensor would be my first port of call

2.0 diesel ?? - thought they were 2.4 or 2.5

iirc Obd2 port should be at the same level as the bonnet release, to the left of the steering wheel

diesels pre 2005 can be a pain as they are not 100% obd2 compliant and not all scan tools will talk to them

You may have to perform a flash test

link the 2 pins shown below, turn the ignition on and count the flashes on the dash
