We have a 2015 Yaris and the screen washer jet only reaches about 7" up the screen and depending how fast you were doing for how far the water travelled up with momentum. We have lived with this for 4yrs but as you get older you don't get the momentum as we don't drive fast enough now. The flow of water isn't the problem it's how far it goes, the nozzle is clear and no amount of adjusting the angle makes it go any further, would changing the nozzle make the water squirt further, I don't want to change it if it doesn't make any difference and has anyone else have this problem.

Intermittent on many cars.
What fluid do you use ?
A good quality screen wash like Preston and mixture ready for winter might help you a bit. I don’t know exact reason for that but definitely happens on many Toyota cars.

We had this issue on our old Toyota Avensis estate. No matter where you adjusted the jet it made no difference.

Not sure if the yaris have the same sort of system but perhaps a look under the hood will tell you. It was where the washer pipe came from the pump and then split into two and went to the washers. It was the little plastic thing that split it and this was actually a valve and split the flow equally in half. But our valve was not splitting it correctly and was loosing power so would only go halfway up the window. It was slightly blocked so never allowed the full pressure. When I mentioned it to my local mechanic they said it will be the splitter valve and it only cost something like £1.50.

if they were the (ceramic?) ones they were fixed but you could order them in 3 different spray angles

I tried using a pin in the ceramic nozzles on our Toyota iQ. Not a good idea; it damaged one of the nozzles (they’re quite friable) and made things worse. Replaced the splitter but no difference. Replaced the nozzles and bingo; that made all the difference. Try the splitter first as cheap and a no-brainer; if no joy replace the nozzles (around £15 each).

I have a set of nozzle cleaners, jet is clear and can be adjusted but won't send water any further

I had the same problem. Main dealer said it was the non return valve sticking. Replaced it and solved the issue.

Similar issues comes from a different problem.
Often is a scale building up on the parts, valves, splitters , tubes, nozzles.
White vinegar or coffee machine descaler can help clean the system.
A good mixture  of washer fluid and regular use top ups are the important bits that keeps these systems work fine and for long.

There is a none return valve and only costs £4.12 so I'll give that a try and let you know the results.
