I hope the occupants are doing well, but that's an extreme way to collect a takeaway!

I'm not sure whether every model level has that as standard?

I believe is likely to be an elderly person who mistakenly stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake.
We know all trims level in these cars are with one of the very best drivers assist system but even so they still has their limits and errors like that are still possible. Two years ago a new Corolla owners did that too, last year the defender that went into a school in Surrey and there are more and more examples. In very near future those accidents will be avoided. There is a company in London with their ai cars that are testing and developing this technology and soon will be implemented into Uber, public transport and then into private cars.
