Inflating tyres

1). Is it ok to use the electric compressor in the boot for routine tyre inflation?

2). The warning light for tyre pressure doesn't seem consistent with the pressures on the driver door - door says 2.2 front 2.0 rear, no warning when front is 2.1.  can the car computer settings be changed?

Got to say the user guide is crap.

The warning light for the tyre pressure monitoring system is meant to provide a warning when a severe loss of pressure is indicated - usually around 20%. See:

The user guide is meant to be a quick guide. If you want the full owners manual, you can download it from https://www.toyota.co.uk/customer/manuals

You can also order a paper copy from your Toyota dealer at your cost - around £30 or so.
