Potential new IQ owner - paint question

Hi folks

Looking to buy an IQ as I have always had a soft spot. Likely to go for the bog standard 1.0 manual ('IQ 1' guess), as I don't need the extras.

Pre-purchase question if I may: I have seen a 2011 MY locally in what looks like 2 tone paint (white pearlescent with a black roof and black bonnet - see enclosed pic). Is this a factory paint scheme or has someone resprayed to get round the peeling paint issue? Handy to know as it will affect negotiations on price.

Any other advice for a potential new owner welcome 😉

To be certain, check the VIN plate or paint code sticker usually found inside the driver’s door frame and compare it to Toyota's original paint options for that year. It could confirm it’s been repainted. I would check all panels for overspray or uneven panel gaps to rule out poor repairs or hidden damage. If it’s non original, use this to negotiate the price. 👍
