Hi, can anybody tell me how to go about resetting the emergency shut off? The car was in a minor front end collision. Had its tested for faults and its clear apart from ambient temperature sensor. Basically i need to get the car to run while so i can then fix the other damages

I take it you can get the column unlocked and the ignition on

do the brake lights work ?

and the 12v Battery has charge ?

Yes Battery has charge and car will go into acc mode but not ready mode. Brake lights work and all dash works. Just get whirring noise for couple seconds when i then press start

It says shift to (p). Yes lets me go down through but is stiff to (D). No its my own car and wont drive after front collision

was the service plug beside the Battery pulled ?

disconnect the Battery and pull the service plug leave for 15-20 mins, put the service plug back in and connect the Battery

if you have keyless entry and start it may be reset, open the car with the fob buttons, get in and close the door, and foot on the brake, and place the fob on or near the start button (you will hear the column unlock)
