Does anyone know what the red light next to the gear shift in the attached picture means please

Not sure , but it looks similar to the red light on my old Yaris, that I found out is part of the alarm system, and only flashes when the car is deadlocked.

If the one in your pic is on solid like it looks to be, then no idea.

Somebody with a cruiser will no doubt be along soon with a definitive answer for you.
