Last night I wanted to park the car in the duplex garage and I knocked off the antenna on the roof of the car. there is on to e buy a used antenna on the internet and I thought I would exchange it together with a friend.the problem is because now I have an error on the obd 2 telematics and I think that the e call system no longer works for me.  I have a red light on e call where the button is. I don't think it was red before. Does anyone know where the sim card from the e call system in the Yaris Cross is located. Is it in the antenna that looks like a shark.

There is no sim card - its an electronic e sim.

Does the part number on your replacement antenna match the part number from the vehicles original equipment antenna?

you have an error as you killed the antenna, not sure how you managed to knock a shark fin off the roof it must be a very low ceiling in the garage or the door wasn't all the way up

you will have to drop the headlining down to unplug and unbolt the shark fin

new they come as the base and the cover separately

Is it not sufficient to remove the plastic cover on car ceiling to access to antenna ?
