APP not letting me preheat car

Hi

 

I am in the uk and my BZ4x is linked to the My T app. It says online I can control the heating but I get no option for this. Is it just me or common problem?

You should be using the My Toyota app. Is that a typo or the wrong app in use?

Well, if you mean this website link: https://www.toyota.co.uk/owners/connectivity/my-toyota-app then it is the My Toyota app. (My T was deprecated some while back).

On your 'phone it should identify as My Toyota rather than My T.

The My Toyota app does offer Remote Control services including Start Climate.

Are you subscribed to Connected Services?

I was supposed to get it for free for 3 years. I don't know how to check

It all seemed pretty obvious when I first configured the app for my car, but I can't see how to check right now! The "Connected Services Center" seems to be "missing" - which may be your problem!

Right, yes, no, found it again ... 😉

In the app My Garage > Owned > <your car> > Connected Services Centre

and activate them ...
