Hi...

Iknow this has been posted up a lot so i will be quick!

I need an idea of what to look out for to find a decent engine(4efte),

So any help much appreciated.

Fensport sell the engine, would be cheaper than getting a front cut.

Its not just the engine though....

You need the bonnet with its scoop unless you relocate the intercooler. If its EP91 you'll need headlights too, not sure about EP82

You'll need the ECU, and some of the wiring. The front cut is the easiest way to go unless you have a cheap donor car.

Just out of interest i have seen 2 of these conversions done and neither have bonnet scoop?

ROB H off gtturbo has got a new intercooler but its still located in the same place.?

its best if you have a bonnet scoop. how would the intercooler get that cool gust of wind to do its job right if that bonnet scoop wasn't there? you can go without it, but the intercooler will be in contact with warm/hot air and more than likely won't cool anything.

But this could be because they have got a front mounted intercooler. If this is the case then they don't really need a bonnet scoop :P
