aygo frozen windscreen

Hello people went to aygo this morning and windscreen was frozen on the inside, has anyone any tips to prevent this and maybe any ideas to male screen clear more quickly??? I literally sat in car for 10 to 15 minutes before I could drive to work.   cheers

It is a problem with a number of modern toyotas. I too had condensation this evening.

the trick is. Put AC on at about 25c and set it to windscreen clear. Wait about 15 plus minutes…

rinse n repeat for a couple of days…

make sure there is no water in the boot set the A/C to recirc

Why bother for a problem that only happens in the uk for 10% of the year

lay towels on the dash and clean the screen with warm/hot water with a few drops of washing up liquid

That is OK if the OP's Aygo has climate control which tends to be on the higher spec cars.

If manual air con, use in conjunction with the heater. Also see:

otherwise new windscreen

Get a dehumidifier bag for inside the car to absorb moisture in the air. I use to suffer with the condensation and freezing up on the inside prior to owning one. I've now no issues at all since keeping this in the car.

Best is prevention, not the cure. I put a windscreen cover on the car if I know I'm going out early. £10 and no freezing on the inside.
