Actuator

Hi, so after a phone call from toyota, my actuator is not a genuine toyota part and the car apparently hates it, and they're quoting 1600 just for the part. Which is just not doable. Any advice? Do I get second opinions, source the part and get someone to fit it?

What warranty did the car come with?

MMT automatic, is it the shift or clutch actuator ? I Call BS as you can't get aftermarket actuators, it may have had a reconditioned unit, Go get the car back
