Received a phone call while driving today. Phone was connected by cable and listening to a online radio station.

 The audio cut out but the screen showed the incoming number as unknown and there was no way to answer it on the screen or via the steering wheel buttons.

When I got home found that the call had been made via WhatsApp from somebody who is in my contact list.

Is this usual and if so is there any way to change it so that it can be answered hands free.

Also having issues with WhatsApp messages and CarPlay so may be WhatsApp?  It just stutters!
