Hardwiring Viofo Dashcam for Yaris Hybrid - Advice

Hi folks.

Picked up a front and rear Viofo A229 Pro Dashcam for 2020 Toyota Yaris Hybrid (1.5).

Getting an auto electrician to install it tomorrow but came across comments on the internet about peoples car Battery draining etc.

There is a parking mode on the Dashcam and I wouldn’t mind having it active but I presume that would use the Battery more and potentially drain it.

Is there anything I should be aware of or make sure the auto electrician does to ensure the hard wiring doesn’t result in me waking up some day to a dead Battery.

Do not use parking mode with your car, it will drain the small 35Ah 12v Battery in not so much time.
