Disconect AC compressor

Hi, 

 

i have a aygo kgb10 with AC. I would like to disable the AC compressor as it is making noise when i start the car. I would like to know if it is possible that i change the belt connecting AC unit with alternator, water pump and crank with other belt so the belt is not connected to AC compressor? Will it cause any damage?
