Screen Wash stopped working - cold icy weather. Fuse had blown but Toyota hand book was useless instructing where and what fuse to check on this years model.

Found out the hard way - there are two visible fuse boxes located - 1) internally below passenger glove box area. 2) externally under bonnet on passenger side of car next to where wheel arch is…. Large black box that has lid on that has to be levered off with flat screwdriver.

For the screen washer fuse that operates both back and front pumps choose the external bonnet fuse box.

The correct fuse is a mini 15amp blue fuse on the bottom right of the fuse box Aprox two or three fuse positions up from bottom.

in my car it was the last fuse seen as others below were space and vacant places.

This one had blown.

I hope this helps someone as because this car is new there were no help videos on YouTube of this newer model.

Nor was the drivers handbook any hood either.

So in  short …. Screen washer fuse is under bonnet on passenger side in big black box and it’s a 15amp fuse at the bottom most right of the fuse box…. 2023/2024 Aygo X model

good luck

Have you been using the abbreviated used guide supplied with the car or the full owners manual?

The full owners manual may be downloaded from https://www.toyota.co.uk/customer/manuals

A paper copy of the full owners manual may also be ordered from your Toyota dealer at your cost (around £30'ish).

Hi

The book that came with the car.

I did try to download the guide you mention from the Toyota web site but it kept sending me around in circles.

I thought it might help others in the future.
Many Thanks.

So the user guide.

Even though this user guide book has a wealth of info … a page in it on where to find fuse boxes would have been nice.

As said earlier I tried downloading from web site without success.

it’s my daughters car …. But all other cars I’ve ever owned had this info in the guide supplied with the car to be fair.
