Anyone seen this lates which mag poor result for the bz4x?

0-4 year reliability: • Reliability rating: 2 stars • Owners that reported faults: 36% • Owners that reported breakdowns: 21% • Average time off road: 4.2 days

Terrible for a Toyota,

I've have my fwd bz4x for 25 months, 26,000 miles no issues so what's going on

25 months, AWD, 28000 miles, no major issues other than a random overnight windscreen shatter (that got replaced on warranty) and I even got 2 keys when I picked mine up

So on paper I would have to report a fault ie the windscreen and some frustration over the constant needing to drive to the garage for software updates (5 so far). So if I had filled in a survey (I haven't) I would have reported faults. I would defo give it more than 2 stars though as the issues are minor compared with some other new cars I have owned

I reckon some of those 36% faults are complaints about the app!

which say

We found that 36% of owners experienced one or more faults in the 12 months covered by our survey, which is higher than the average (25%). Those interested in this car should also have decent breakdown cover as 21% of current owners said that theirs had broken down or failed to start, which is much higher than the average (6.8%).

I've been to garage twice for software updates so when I completed the survey I didn't mark this as an issue/breakdown/fault

also they say

For models aged 0-4 years, the most common faults were with the 12V Battery (13% of owners) and the onboard computer software (13%).

The Which? report dates back to February 24, and includes feedback from owners.

Not far adrift from the Tesla model Y (77%), and most EVs they've tested, score in the 80's.
