How does the 2018 -2022 Prius vs Octovia IV Hybrid stack up ?

 

The Octivia Hybrid IV looks more solid than a Prius or Corolla

No, big NO on Octavia hybrid. 
Octavia are very good cars but if you buy a diesel one or petrol only and without a wet belt engine. If you are after hybrid the best ones are Toyota. 
And if you are after a better hybrid car than only look at Lexus, because these are just more luxurious Toyota s.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your inputs especially previous help & advice. I’ve been toying with buying an all electric car especially with our recent government & their concerns about the environment. I get the impression they won’t be very helpful to say the least about those that choose other than all electric cars & will punish those that use fossil fuels, even efficient hybrids!
 

With that in mind, the all electric cars that Toyota are producing are so restricted to literally one model which means that the likes of me that have faith in Toyota’s excellent build & quality will have to look elsewhere, which is such a shame having found a decent company after many years of driving cars that were so reliable!
