As regards to the handling on corners, I have just driven a New Facelift model with the damper & new front susspension, then driven a July 04 reg'ed prefacelift model with 700 miles on the clock.

Even thou it was only test driven I found the new one a lot better handleing than the old one. espeascaly on roundabouts ect.

The current car I have is a 4x4 mondeo Si lowered on Koni's ect and handles very well on the twisty bits but has now power on the straights. The new CTS seemed to handle as well as the modeo on the corners and had lots of power comming out of the corners.

Drove a new avensiss at the same time as the CTS and it handled like a boat in comaprision.

But will no doubt have more to say when I actualy get the CTS by the end of the month.

Oh man I still got another 3 weeks to wait , i haven't even seen a 04 Corolla T Sport yet they are like rocking horse in this part of the world...

For me the car is exactly what i'm looking for and the gadgets/spec/safety made me a little more biased towards the Corolla also I ain't no Michael Schumacher and i'm sure the cars more capable than I am....

Also when you see what a Test Driver can do with one of these cars you soon appreciate that lots of times its the driver not the car...

If you want to improve pre-lift TS handling I recommend lowering springs and a front strut bar. I installed both and experienced noticeable improvement with each of them. AFAIK the new TS comes equipped with a front strut.
