Red Yaris 54

Hello I am just negotiating with my local Toyota dealer to buy a Yaris T3 1.0 MMT

Just waiting to take a test drive in a Yaris with MMT transmission.

I have previously owned a Renault Clio Quickshift 5 so am not totally new to the type of transmission.

Could anyone that owns a Yaris with MMT give me any opinions?

Thanks :D

Local dealer has just phoned me to say that he is unable to locate a Yaris demonstrator with MMT....Apparently even Toyota GB are not currently running one :(

So this leaves me with a connundrum.... do I go ahead with my order without test driving the MMT version, (bearing in mind that I currently run a Clio with a similar system), OR proceed with the order and take the chance that the Yaris MMT is as good as i've heard

Maybe if I do the latter the dealer will agree to fit a few goodies (Flaps, mats etc.)

Any thoughts on this from other Yaris folk welcome

I heard there first semi-automatic system wasn't very good at all. But they revived it with the MMT which is supposed to be top notch.

I'd say go 4 it, also try and dig out any old magazines like Auto Express etc and see if they have ever test driven 1?

Hello again,

I have now ordered my Yaris (for collection end of September)

I went for a Carlo Blue Metallic in the end so I suppose I should change my forum name.

Thanks to those who responded to my enquiry.
