I have a 2004 Corolla Saloon 1.6. Should i use a high octanes petrol or regular is enough?

Regular Unleaded (About 95 Octain) will be fine. However as the car gets older and if it only does short runs (i.e.School runs and stop starting/local shoping in your high street) about every 4th fill put Superunleaded in it (such as Shell 'Optimax' which is about 98 Octain) for it burns cleaner and over a long period of time can help an older car pass the emission test when it's M.O.T time (I realise M.OT. is not a worry for you as yet).

If you wish you could try Superunleaded all the time right now and see if it improves the acceleration of your car (only slight if at all) if you don't mind spending a few extra pence.
