For those northern lads and lasses that know me and my daughter (sally) bad luck has struck again as her Paseo has once more been broken in to (again)...........nothing nicked (again) but both windows on the drivers side have been smashed and the drivers side door by the lock has been pierced by something which leaves a nice little hole..........the door can be opened from the inside but not the outside the question is would it pay her to have the car de-keyed or de-locked whatever its called so that she only has the key fob to open it and if so where in the middlesbrough area can she get it done............many thanks in advance. :ffs:

I'd get it done for both the looks and for break ins but would also consider some security film as well, also make sure you leave the boot lock or something on incase of Battery failure!

if you decide to go with the shaved door locks,,,there will be a saftey release some where on the out side of the car (incase the battey dies)...and thieves will see the no locks and find the release,,,,or in your case they will break the windows again..either way they will gain entry to the car,,,,,sorry this has happened too you again.. :(

This sucks mate,

Really sorry to hear that.

I'll ask around and see who's the best place for delocking round here, and the security film idea for the windows might save some grief too.

Hate to say this, but the only way to stop this happening is psychotic violence on the scum responsible.

hope it's all sorted soon though.

Cheers Rich and everyone else will be getting some more glass put in soonest and then probably take it to Marshbrooks in Grangetown to see if they can do a temporary repair on the lock for the time being...........theyre pretty good.......a couple of ex-toyota mechanics who have started up in business themselves lot cheaper than Mr. T.

I couldn't agree more Rich

Have a chat with the guy's down at Triple 6 mate, they should be able to put you in touch with a spot that can dehandle the paseo, fit a proximity alarm and fit security film in the Teeside area, have seen lots of cars at Boro cruises with the same thing done and most of them had Triple 6 stickers on
