G6 Or G6r Front Lip

anyone got the g6r of g6 front lip from the e11 model corolla that they want to sell. and side skirts from the g6r aswell

Hi there

I don't have either of the items you require but can offer a little advice on them.

I presume its the 'Bug eyed' version you have (1997 - 2000).

The G6 'front bib' spoiler is not as wide/big as the G6R yet is more expensive! (price to shock you later!)

The G6R front spoiler is usually colour coded and usually has little round spotlights mounted within it.

The G6 spoiler/lip is actually in 3 pieces and is very similar in its mounting and style to the early Escort XR3 front spoiler.

The 3 pieces consist of:

Two halves of spolier - Drivers Side PART NO 76851 - 12090

- Passenger side PART NO 76852 - 12090

and a joining piece that

connects the two together

Plus it acts as a flap to access

towing bracket - Retainer/flap PART NO 76853 - 12070

Fitting retainer kit - Screw x8 PART NO 90159 - 60488

- Screw holder x4 PART NO 90189 - 05144

Now for price shock ...this little lot will cost £192 (includes VAT)!!! !!!

Usually the bigger G6R spoiler is chosen if side skirts will be fitted as well.

If no side skirts are to be fitted then smaller G6 spolier suits it better.

On the subject of side skirts there is an alternative, seen on jappanese home market only corollas they have little quarter spats on the forward part of the rear wheel arch (again very similar to early Escort XR3).

If anyone knows anything of these I would be interested.
