I have tried all I can and have failed :(

Still haven't managed to get hold of a Multimeter yet, and have no money till payday to spend on that kind of thing, and as the car is immobile, i cant get it to a bleedin garage! :(

I've got a MM I can drop in somewhere in reading .. but you'll need a 9v Battery ..
