hey guys

my discs and pads are now non eistent and i'm braking metal against metal so have to order new discs and pads. i have 3 options

1) EBC turbo groove discs and greenstuff pads £150

2) pagid grooved with kevlar pads £180

3) fensport (diamond) drilled and grooved with greenstuff pads £170

which is best, do soemtimes drive in a 'spirited fashion' so need something that could cope with that

Option 3

Fensport Drilled & Grooved make the most sense for 'Spirited driving'.

Plus the bonus of them looking good too.

Diamond will warp really quickly.

If I had to, I would go for option 1. But, try http://www.apexperformance.co.uk

You'll have to give em a bell to see if they have em in stock as they mainly do parts for Nissan's.

I got Brembo 10 groove discs and Mintex 1144 pads for mine from there for £160-£170. As we all know Brembo have got a reputation for being quality, and I have to say they are. When I slam my brakes on full blast all the blood rushes to the front of my head.

The Mintex pads I have are also quality.

I'd go with option 1 mate. There are mixed reports about drilled and grooved discs and their reliability. I'd rather have stopping power than bling.

Seeing you're a Goldie, look in the discounts area. You might find something very interesting on offer for the first option ;) I set it up a couple of months ago when sorting my brakes out

cheers for the info garrick.

one company said that as i spoke to them at trax they are offering me 20% off the package, so will probably undercut the cost thru EBC direct
