And the first step of making her new facelift...all the spars cut off.

some cardboard and tape to fix the damage.. ;)

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/03.JPG

time for fitting.first fibres added and more "starkki"-tape.

Notise it´s still winter and so damn cold.

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/11.JPG

primer added and trying the mesh on.the mesh is later to be painted black.

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/12.JPG

trying the bumper on with neons.

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/13.JPG

same thing as above but no neons..

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/14.JPG

the fresh paint....

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/15.JPG

before--->after (hmm...something has changed, hasnt it?)

http://users.evtek.fi/~olliah/OlliA/19.JPG

Whow alot of work there, definately worth it though, and you know your not going to see another bumper the same

Posted

Welcome to the club mate!! Jus wanna say the=at ur bumper is SWEEEEET!! Definately worth the hassle and its the definition of custom modification.

Nice one mate.

Posted

wow, must of taken u ages.... so u looking to do the whole kit? :P

Posted

blush.gif Thanks, it´s always nice to have positive comments of what you´ve done.

Actually yes i´m going to do the whole kit, the sideskirts are already done with fibraglass, but i have still so much sanding etc. to do.Trying to finish them during the winter.

With the backbumper i thought that i would take a pug 206 backbumper and combine the genuine starlet one with it and mod it a bit more for twin exhaust. But i think i´m going to leave the backbumper alone for a while till i get the exhaust... For the exhaust i´ve planned to fit two stainless steel back boxes to both sides of the sparetire..
