But no offence, but i wouldnt get a sony headunit....you can get better i dont think sony are all that compared to other makes

save an extra 30 quid and you can have this alpine unit on special offer

sound quality will trounce the sony

are you going to be changing the facia?? if not youll just need the harness adaptor

for facia conversions have a look in my garage all the info is there

Go into Halfrauds and have a listen. My mate works there (plus i used to) so i take two or three cd's...and whack em in..crank 'em up and see what happens :P

they dont have these Speakers there!! theyre too good for em :D

you see most 6by9s i see that everyone gos for coz theyre reasonably priced are ones around £40-£50, with 220w max and 50w rms!!

these infinitys are rrp £120 but reduced to £85, with a max of 330w (110w more than average) and 110w RMS (60w more than average)

so im guessing theyre quite good?

Yep they are quite good. I like Infinty Speakers

They are wasted on a cheap headunit though so its up to you. They will only play as well as the head unit allows so get a good head unit first up with some cheaper 6x9's and upgrade the 6x9's at a later date as you can sell on 6x9s easy

Alpine are the best in any budget

Ok so youll pay a tad more an not get loads of flashy lights and poxy features

BUT.....

dismissal of tatty features = more development into quality

who are the ulitmatum in blandness (looks like the standard stereo out ya grandads metro)

but you can put everyother headunit together and these babies will trounce them all day long :D

I honestly don't know how people can compare sound quality? So jaxx and Moffmo, are u sayin u have seen the exact 2 same cars with the exact same systems played at the same volume and the Alpine headunit wos clearer than the Sony? Or have u switched a Sony 4 an Alpine headunit and played them at the same volume and the Alpine is clearer?

Sorry rant over, just gets me worked up people slate Sony when my system is actually !Removed! good!

Ryan, when I used to work in Halfrauds/Ripspeed *shudder*, all i used to do was ***** about with the car audio section, giving advice, and generally listening to music! Switching all the sony products on, headunit-speakers etc, u notice how crap they are, compared to say an Alpine headunit and Infinity Speakers....

Then you go into your local ice specialist, listen to JL and the like and well ...there's a difference again , but you are talking different price levels compared to the Halfrauds stuff
