New Rav-4 Owner Needs Help

I'm about to purchase a 1996 p reg rav-4 and have a few questions i hope you guys can help with.

1) Is it true A.B.S didn't come as standard until the 97 (poss 98) models?

2) Anybody know where i can find the specs for the car?

3) Anybody know of any ideas where to put a cd changer?

Hope you guys can help a new toyota owner out.

put a mp3 head unit in , no need for cd changer then , looks like late 97 had abs no sooner.

Hi there.

The answer to 1 is yes, it is true - they seemed quite late on the uptake of ABS.

I don't know about 2, but there are two cubbies in the boot area (I'm talking about the 5-door). Probably the best place would be under the front passenger seat though (I think the jack's under the driver's if my memory serves me right).

Hi , i use to have a 1995 Rav4 some years back, and collected a rather large brochure collection, it covers mainly UK models plus a couple of Japanese brochures and one from the States, so if you have any question that i can help with, just shout.

Towards the end of production of the mark 1 Rav4, several limited additios were added to the range, theses may not come up on some specification listing, like a say just shout, better still PM me :) .
