Is there a certain size screw or bolt that is commonly used to plug the VSV? And is it worth using silicon sealer on it once inserted etc...

Can't wait now to get boost up :)

Cut the hose and a 10mm bolt screwed in I think ..

Have a look in the "How To" sticky and the Paul Port G-Valve file ..

The guide says an M6 Bolt, is that a standard diamater of thread?

Also, how do people normally fit the MBC - do they just cut the hose and put the mbc right in between the original hose or is it more common to add a longer section in and mount the mbc somewhere a bit better?

Hmm - good idea. F**k if I want to do that now then I will need to order more samco hosing with a 5 mm diameter. Means having to pay postage, which was expensive, twice :(

What hose did you use? Don't really want to skimp on hose that will expand etc.

I got a wad with the valve .. about 3 foots worth .. it's 20bar (not psi .. BAR) stuff .. no splits there then ..

 That'll do the trick :)

So where can I get some of that tomorrow?

Bibbs - did you have any issues or have to alter any settings regading timing/fuelling when you had raised your boost?

I am not sure whether to go to 14, 14.5 or 15psi What you reckon? Am obviously inclined to go 15 as everything seems in good order to do so. If you have a unichip then please ignore this - I can't remember if you do or not.
