Fog Light Switch - Sera

Hi

can some one tell me where the switch for the rear fog light is? i think i no which one it is (a orange switch on the right side of steering wheel) but nothing seems to be happening i need this to work as my mot is coming up.

I no it this sounds stupid not knowing where the switch for fog light is but this is my first sera and i've got no manual book on this car.

I would be gr8ful if someone can

Hi Tina.

Welcome to the Forum.

Yeah the button is usually positioned on the right of the steering wheel. Fog tail lights are not compulsary in Japan so your Sera would not have had one fitted from standard.

It has been fitted when it came into this country, and by the sound of things, badly.

Without being patronising, make sure you have you main lights on when you test the fog light.

Otherwise it may be a knakard bulb or faulty wiring.

Just check these things first before you spend your money!

Welcome to TOC.

As G said, the Sera doesn't come with fogs fitted, so these have to be fitted over here for compliance.

If you get stuck then shout up, there 's a lot of clever peeps on these forums

for the advise, im not a car person just no how to drive one but learning, will tell this to my boyfriend and get him to fix it.

i love the car but since i've bought it theres seems to be so much problem

with the lighting.

Fornt right side headlight went then when my boyfriend fitted a new blub the light seems to be dimmer and when you put the full beam on all the lights on the right side goes off, he thinks there a problem with the fuse but because its in japanes he doesnt know which one to look at.

Does any1 know where i can get a rear number plate for my sera as it should be small and rectangle few days ago my one fell so when i went to get a new one i thought it was the normal sqr1s but it doesnt fit, i've got it fitted on but looks abit stupid.
