Part What Is It

1995 2 litre gt celica gen 6 , passenger side to the right of the airbox bulk head end is a black cylindrical part . looks like a fuel filter , anyone know what it is .10 inches or so long round at the top with 2 pipes going into it 1 out 1 in presumably. any ideas ?? looked on the epc cant find it.

Is it the carbon cannister?? Look for Cannister Assy Charcoal on your EPC

Yep thats it exactly. Its an environmental thing, has no affect on performance and if you need space you can do away with it, but if you do make sure the venting pipe goes somewhere that wont draw smells into the car.
