Compatible Engines With 89 Camry

The engine in my 89 Camry V6 died recently, and I'm wanting to put another engine in it. I could always just find an engine thats the same as what was in it, but I was wondering if there are any better engines that will easily fit in its place.

I was thinking maybe like a engine from another Toyota car built around the same time.

Any suggestions?

If you had the V6 I can only suppose the Supra engine is better, but i don't know if it will fit without any hassle...
