Was driving in town yesterday, this bright yellow Ferrari 355 came along, i was amazed to see one in town, but once i glanced at the number plate i thought to myself..................G REG?! wtf!!! they don't do that model in that year!!

If only he parked up and then i would have walked up to him and said....."Nice MR2!!! *wink* *wink*" :P

Why or why not have changed the plate to private plate lol.

Hes pretty proud of it too!

When i was in wokingham he was passing through and we both stopp at some traffic lights, I popped my window down and said "nicely done!"

He then said "It's one of those you know?" pointing at my car...

As if i couldn't tell the difference!lol

He seems like an OK guy though, got chatting to him for a bit afterward.

Yeah he needs to get rid of the G reg plate, then that would be more real to public eye... but still the real thing is a much better thing... :P

This silly think is they are really not a very convincing F355 rep!!

I was looking at buying a real one this summer and was poking about one (Targa top F355 F1... nice :D).. they are a totally differnt shape, and they are not a small car!!! The MR2 is!

I hate fake stuff... its just so... "wrong" fake clothes, cars etc etc...

I like the look of delocked doors but I thought I'd be paranoid about being locked out while out somewhere.

That was until someone said you can hide a manual button or lever for when things go wrong.

so many people when i got my 2, and then we went to donny show, saw

replica ferraris and they said, oh you HAVE to do that to your 2...

i was like.. :censor: off! , if i wanted a ferrari id of got one, or id save for one.

You know what annoys the most though

the way they try to bump up the price of them.

Saw one going for £16k,

so i went up to him and said "what engine is in your MR2",

and he said "Its a ferrari" in which i said "shut up you muppet!!"

oh by the way it was a N/A aswell!!

To each his own I guess... personally though, I think they suck and like Karma Supra already said, stand an MR2 next to an F355 and the shape difference is more than obvious.
