You should have known you wouldn't get any sympathy from this lot. I found large amounts of Brandy helped me but probably not the best advice.

Brandy?????? Nah. What you really need is a nice crispy bacon roll. :D

Only teasing. Hope it gets better soon.

3? Ouch! Where did the other 1 go???

I feel your pain mate. I had to get 2 out out a few years ago under a general anesthetic and I was starving after the op and asked for a chesse sandwich cause I figured that was pretty soft and easy to eat - took me 45 mins to finish it!

Just take it easy, stick ice packs on your jaw to reduce the bruising and eat easy stuff like soup! :)

I haven't had to have them removed...yet :D

So far they've all come in properly and with adequate room. Must have a big mouth :arrgg-matey:

When I had two of mine out last year, all I ate for a week was yoghurt, soup, jelly, those bottles of baby food (the apply & pear one was pretty good) :D After a while I couldn't take it any more and tried eating propper food but i kept trying to chew with the teath that weren't there anymore and hurt like ****** :ffs: so it was back to the sloppy stuff for a few more days.

Take some of those painkillers they give you with a few shots of whisky It makes everything nice for a while B)
