I was trying to install my manual boost control after a friend of mine solder in a £1 FCD.

Gosh, very little space inside... So I fight my hand through all the pipe, there goes my hand touching a sizzling turbo,,,,,not nice..

Try to do it tomorrow as it cools down... any advice?

I am doing mine tomorrow too :)

I bought a length of fuel hose from Halfords - 5.5mm size (you can also get 4.8mm) and they come with the correct sized jubilee clips. Its 1 metre in lenght so I am going to just cut the actuator - tvsv hose and plug them with 2 M6 bolts then cut the fuel hose in half and one end on actuator, one on turbo then connect up MBC on the xbar. At least this way once you have the hoses for the bc connect it is easier to connect to the actual mbc and for future setting.

Also - use fairy liquid on the metal if its hard to get the hose on.

Maybe get a woman slave with small hands to do the fiddly parts. You can then later repay her with sexual favours. I think its a flawless plan.
