Helpp Me. (tyre Pressure)

Hi,

I got a new used car , Toyotal Corolla 98 LE, which runs fine. But i ddnt get the

owner's manual along with the car.

Is there any place where i can download the soft copy of the manual ?.

One more urgent is , i want to know the tyre pressure to be maintained for front

as well as back tyres for my corolla LE .

Please help me regarding this matter at the earliest.

Hello there,

Front tyre pressures are as follows:

If fitted with 14" inch wheels with 175/65 X14R Tyres (usually the standard manufactuers size for this edition of car) the pressure is around 36psi (quite high!) front and rear.

however if fitted with 14" wheels and low profile 185/60 tyres I would recomend about 30psi front and rear.

Also if fitted with 15" wheels and 195/55 tyres (this set up was an option from Toyota on some corolla models and is about the best combination for handling and comfort) then I would recomend 32psi front and rear.

Finally if the car is fitted with 17" or even 18"wheels (18" would need arch mods) and 45 or 40 series tyres then I would advise 28 psi.
