I have to agree with your coments sir!

If memory serves me corectly this is the second recent 'badly messed about with' Corolla on eBay that has been mentioned on this forum.

I suppose though "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

The auxillary lamp arrangement is actually illegal (with reference to the centre two) on a any car manufactered after 1974.

Also what really concerns me about this advert is the fact there is no picture of the side of the car (or pehaps a normal '3 dimensional' picture).

Maybe he/she has got a really thin driveway and can't get far enough away to take a side photo?!

Or maybe there is a **** load of rust down the sides!??!

In a previous posting I expressed concern due to there being no 'side on' pictures, however I take back all I said (or thought). I to have to admit it looks very good (Not to sure about lamp arrangement though, me personally i'd go for 4 Cibies..2 up and 2 down mounting).

Corollags: It would make a lovely stable mate for your silver GS. Just check the usual corrosion problem areas.

Price if condition structually and mechanically plus presentation of interior and engine compartment is as good as paint job looks I would have thought £1000 - £1200.

If anyone does buy it from here, I seriously recommend giving that respray a good check over as they can hide a lot and just because there's no rust now, doesn't mean it's never been there and waiting to come back.

Check for reciepts for the respray and when it was done and also by whom.

agree totally with that comment , the winter is nearly upon us and frost cracking will certainly crack the bodge wide open , no car of that age can be totally rust free here in blighty .like women the older they get the more paint needs to be applied , he he now i'm in trouble.:lol::lol:
