Mbc Fitted At Last :)

Fitted my MBC yesterday and got it set up today.

First of all - what an absolute !Removed! of a job getting the hose on the left actuator pipe - no room to move and the pipe is as awkward as possible position wise.

Anyway - currently getting around 14psi in 3rd then 15psi bang on in 4th and 5th. What a massive diference it makes :D Doesn't even feel or sound like it is ragging the ***** off it. The new found power is incredibly smooth and its nice having more more torque. Made the car so much better than stock. Even going from 80-110 in 5th is so quick.

What psi are other MBC modded cars here running? I am not sure whether to leave it at 15 or reduce it down to just below around the 14 mark. The boost levels are very consistent though which is great.

I get 1bar then drop to 0.8bar in first 2 gears.... then strong on 1bar in 3,4,5th gear.

But abit unsmooth when I boost half way on 0.6bar, turbo is jerkying...then ok on other boost level... is my turbine out of balance??

im runnin 10 and 15 psi mate on a dual solenoid boost controller.

14 psi & 17 psi low & high settings on a profec b ebc.

Used to run 13 psi on my type II with an mbc but would spike on cold nights.

Cheers

Do you ever use the 10 setting? :)

It's a fair difference between 10 and 15 isn't it.

I actually very rarely use the high boost to be honest, but ive got 10 points..soooo...makes sense not to lol.
