New Wheels Fitted...not Right

The term you're looking for is "spacer." ;)

As I've said, the wheel-wobble is a result of increased information from the road being transmitted through the front wheels, due to the fact that you are running thinner tyres on larger rims. This means there is less cushioning effect between your wheels and the road. I can guarantee you the problem will not disappear unless you go back to smaller rims.

i assume the offset is correct for the car aswell :)

i thought spacers were used to correct offsets? as far as i know theyre bigger rings than the hubcentric rings and are used to move the alloy further away from the axle (e.g.to stop the tyres rubbing against the suspension)

Hub centric rings are manufactured so that when they are installed on a vehicle, the wheels are located directly off of the centre flange of the brake drum or rotor. This is done to insure that the outer beads of the wheel are concentric with the wheel bearings. The result is a much truer, better balanced tire/wheel assembly. This is very important with modern high tech suspension systems.

Thats what i thought! Spacers are completely different

True...NOT spacers, I'm not in need of pertruding the wheels just trying to fix the problem of them moving on the hub (hence the judder after 40mph).
