As some of you know I also have a mini and go to most of the shows. On sunday I went to mini in the park held at silverstone.and it was FANTASTIC!!!

Now I have allways wanted to have a go at auto testing if you dont know what it is ill quickly explain. you have lots of cones some are placed like a litte garage that you drive the front of the car into some you reverse into others you weave in and out of some you 180 or 360 anyway it's a load of fun.

They had this course set out and where asking people to have a go in there mini's no one would. So I was thinking sod it I will give it a go in ours. I got taken out at first with a stunt driver guy I was told he was a pro and holds lots of world records the blokes a don in the car :lol: then they time you and you just give it a go.

The presenter was mike brewer (think that was his name) he has done 4car did a program about buying selling cars and also just did a porgram after the f1 on a sunday where he would start with 500 and then buy cars until he got to 10k or summin it was cool. well he was there :P

He in his 165 bhp (new bmw mini) got a time of 49.8 sec me in our I 46bhp mini 30th got 52.5 :D I was quite impressed with the mini loads of people tried but came no where near my time :lol: my little record lasted 15 cars unitl some scumbag in a 1.3 cooper beat me at 52.4 :lol: The git beat me out of a years membership to miniworld magazine :(

So now I am hooked it was loads and loads and loads of fun I have lots of pictures that I will put up later

Also got to do 2 laps of the track with 450 other minis so all in all a top day
