i ahve a 96 corolla 1.3, i want to get a low cut wing for the back some side skirts and alloys for it! i dont have a clue bout any of this stuff! where canb i get hold of a wing as my local toyota garage say they cant get hold of them any more?! what are the best size wheels for it and where do i get side skirts from and which ones??

Modification/customisation is a personal choice and should be your own idea.

For a few ideas get hold of a Demon Tweeks catalogue or such like. You can then decide on cost of items etc. Don't worry if prices come as a shock ...they always do to all of us.

A Bit of advice when 'tuning' a smaller engine up (and i'm sure many members will agree) is don't go spending more on the 'smaller' engined car when for less money you could have bought a nice example of the faster sports model!

I had to keep reminding myself of this when I was a 18 year old 'urchin' with a Mini and an Escort.

Also certain mods may increase insurrance premiums, depending on company.

To start with clean/polish the car (I know it's difficult in our climate) and I mean 'superclean' the lot, engine area as well (don't go using a steam cleaner this might do damage, better to do it over a few days with plenty of 'elbow' grease).

I know this may sound boring but as was stated in an old Custom Car/Hot Rod magazine "any car whether standard or not that is in nice clean/shinny/polished up condition" will turn heads".
