Clutch Adjustment

hey everyone. my clutch catches about an inch off the floor. has anyone on here adjusted the clutch so it catches a little higher? if so, how did u do it? apparantly, when i race, my foot tends to be slower than my hands, resulting in a nasty grind and slow shifts.

my clutch is sorta similar... the biting point starts just off the ground.

I can have it in gear... just lift the clutch and the car will start to move forward.

I don't have any issues with it though as I'm more than used to it. Can the clutch be adjusted?

PS : My clutch is not a stock toyota clutch. It's some mad Exedy racing clutch.

The clutch itself isn't adjustable obviously as its hydraulic. However you can adjust the biting point by adjusting the length of the pedal push rod. Take a look at CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT OF CLUTCH PEDAL on the BGB http://www.mr2-tech.com/bgb/mechanical/volume2/clutch.htm

ahh thank u kelvyn. thats exactly what i was looking for. i just want it to catch higher. im pretty sure my clutch isnt stock either. it takes some effort to push it down. im a lil used to it, i just wanna be able to shift 10x faster.
