Carina - Sunroof Open Warning Module

The sun's come out, my midnight-blue Carina's assumed its dual role as a sauna, and I've taken to leaving the sunroof open again, as with every summer when the weather's lovely.

Which brings me to my pet hate, the one thing that drives me suicidal with my car - the b***dy "Sunroof Open" warning beeper. If it beeped once, that'd be fine, and it'd still fulfill its purpose when it might rain. It beeps about 20 flippin times, every time I turn the ignition off.

Is there any way of reducing the number of beeps it makes, or muffling it, or some bodge that would make it shut the hell up?

Please help me, before I go insane !!!!!!!
