my mate just passed his test yesterday and has had a freak little misghap :!Removed!:

we were both at our local little car park and we were just hanging there then we decided to do a shoot coz was boring, and there was a truck behind us parked up as the driver was asleep, id say about 15meters away! only way we cud get outa bays was by reversing! well my mate flew off backwards and went straight into the trucks back end! put his rear window out and totally smashed the back end in :eek::crybaby: he did reverse back quite quickly and we were both aware that truck was there but i dont think he was concentrating!! he musta flew into it at about 5-10mph backwards which is quite scary!!

whole back window out, nissan Badge totally pushed in, and a huge line indent of where he hit it all down his back end! its a lovely car! its the new nissan sport model with full bodykit!! id say about £300-£400 to repair! :crybaby:

feel so sorry for him as hes failed his test 3 times and just passed with 4minors yesterday! hes been lookin forward to driving for ages! i just feel so sorry for him!

i feel so guilty somehow even though i did nothing!

:crybaby:

noooooo what a s**t night :crybaby: i just cant believe it! i feel so guilty somehow! he is ma best mate! :!Removed!: :!Removed!: :!Removed!: :( i feel so unhappy

tell me about it!! my mam and dad dont like me going down the car park as apparently its "full of nutters" even though nothing happens!! all people do is pull up, turn engine off and chill and talk to otha ppl! thats it! friendly atmosphere and no silly stuff!

iv been warned not to go down there coz of my dads feelings, since its his car but i drive it all the time and mod it, im gona buy it off him eventually!

and if my mates mam comes round tomorow and my mam/dad find out il get absolutely <the spuds of lurrrrvve>ed, although it wasnt in the car park where people hang out, but knowing my dad il still get done!! and he said if he catches me down there or finds out he wont let me drive again

lol, sorry but it is funny :)

As for the truck, i very much doubt it will be damaged.

my bro-in-law owns a haulage firm, and i've seen one of his drivers pushing a bmw 7series about 25ft down the road, before he even knew there was a car attached to his front bumper. leaving no evidence either except a scratch on the plastic bumper. Oh and the bmw was a write off

i was right! hes just came online now! his mams not letting him drive it again! the road people, AA or watever are there now taking the car away for repair! £300 worth of damage so i was right!

he told his mam he was alone so she dont think im there! so thats one less thing to worry bout!

my old man shoved a range rover off the road in his wagon once down a 10ft banking! totally wrecked it, and scratched the RSJ's on the side of the trailer! :o

gotta agree with bibbs, its ok havin a bit of a play around but be aware of any hazards around as youll end up with egg on your face

I know the feeling,

5 Days of driving my car and a cyclists with a walkman on decided to turn right across the front of my car to get on to the pavement (not a junction) without checking behind him, Luckily I was already giving him a wide berth anyway otherwise he would have gone under the wheel. But he did fall against the car denting the wing, breaking the wing mirror off completely, and denting the rear quarter panel. I was upset about it at the time but realised cars can be fixed alot easier than lives.

I didn't wanna drive again, but that soon changed.

Tell your mate to get back in the car when his family lets him

It was inexperience that's all.

my friend reversed into a parked car the other night at a 24hour petrol garage. Hurt his neck and all, his yaris is a little bashed at the back, not as bad as it could have been, i think the other car was worse off!!

lol :D tis ok now coz his mam is convinced i wasnt there, my mate told his mam i wasnt there and that not to tell ne1 coz he didnt want ne1 to know that he knows, so his mam&him made an excuse up that if i ask, the cars at the garage! so :D

funny thing is though! it may as well be my car! i have it 99% of the time!! but yeh i have big plans when iv bought it!!

because somehow my dad wont like the bodyparts im after, thats why im just after a fairly normal bodykit at first (ASD design) with carzone spoiler.

eventually i want booster rear skirt with twin exit zorst! top secret yaris skirts! and sard front bumper!

That's bad luck. I bent my parents' car (slightly) on the day I passed my test, a loooong time ago. I'd gone to tell all my mates I'd passed. Felt so grown up until I tried to turn into the narrow road to the car park between two pubs.

Totally misjudged it and caught a rear wheelarch against the wall of one pub!

Still... it gets that "first accident" out of the way. We laugh about it now but it was over 30 years ago.

I still learn something new everytime I go out on the road.

Me too, mainly how bad and inconsiderate people are getting when behind a wheel :ffs:
